MediumRARE is a private chef and small event catering company owned and operated by Amy Oelerich and KJ Brussow.  We prepare and serve the highest quality meals using the freshest natural ingredients grown locally and organically whenever possible.   

 

MediumRARE loves to meet and cater to our client’s taste, budget and atmosphere with food done well. We started this business to create a culinary experience for our clients that supported our desire for versatility, creativity and quality. “You are only as good as your ingredients.” These three ingredients are elemental in our lives. We adore the outdoors and any activity that takes us to those majestic and inspiring landscapes of the world. We take that passion to work with us.


 

Versatility - MediumRARE caters to all your culinary needs and will work with you to create a delicious menu for any occasion at any destination. A twelve course event at a sexy garden party, sushi at your mountain getaway, or caviar and champagne in the backcountry; We want to create a legacy of quality and will travel just about anywhere for you. 

                                                                                                                                

Quality - MediumRARE has a high standard for itself and the meals created.   Dining should be enjoyed by more than just the palette; presentation to appeal to the eye, fresh wholesome flavourful ingredients to excite the taste, and smell and friendly, interesting company to share the experience.

 

Creativity - MediumRARE does not post menus or recipes because we believe that cooking is a creative process. We follow our instinct to discover new and exciting personalized dishes.  Whether it is simply dinner at home or an event that’s never been done before, we love a challenge and enjoy opportunities to propagate a memorable occasion for you and your dining partners.
