                       "food done well"

Amy and KJ

The Wasatch Mountains in Utah held Amy captive from when she was a mere babe. She sought to escape to other places to seek her fortune and brave adventure. Many years later she returned to her beloved mountains to ski and make merry with her friends. Good to be home (even in the sweltering heat of the summer months) Amy and pal KJ embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure of the culinary kind.

Amy’s cooking experience is beyond imagination. Her knack for seeking out unique culinary adventures has led her to the far reaches of the West. Heli-skiing in British Columbia, river running in Idaho, hiking in Colorado and mountain biking in the Southern Utah desert. She has been a private chef for professional athletes, famous actors, illustrious politicians, and rock and rollers.

Studying Japanese cuisine under sushi masters, slinging hash with big city chefs and having a superb instinct for fine food, Amy’s schooling in the culinary arts goes outside tradition.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys skiing powder, collecting vintage ski clothing, bicycle riding, jewelry making and photography. She strives to become a mandolin master and write stories of her frothy experiences.

She lives in Holladay, Utah

KJ has lived a life of thrill and adventure. Brought to Utah by her parents at the age of 9 she quickly learned to ski the tumultuous slopes of Little Cottonwood Canyon. When the tomboy tot came of age, the champagne powder was only able to hold her attention for the winter months, she embarked upon her discovery of all the west had to offer. Her thirst for exploration has lead her to heli-skiing in Europe, surfing in Costa Rica, climbing in Thailand, and sailing around the British Virgin Islands.

Schooled at the prestigious University of Utah in Recreational Business she has made a successful career out of both. Her culinary desires stem from a nurturing mother and an innate sense of smell. She is an amateur wine geek, an ex-professional beer snob and a master of the mixed cocktail. In what precious spare time she has, KJ enjoys playing the guitar, extreme skiing, kayaking, mountain biking, reiki and watercolors.

She lives in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
